Anime de 2019 recomeça de novo / 2019 Anime Starts Anew

Dia primeiro de Abril nos vamos começar a receber um número de novos animes. eu pretendo ver todos eles e fazer pequenas resenhas com minhas primeiras preocupações e tal, como eu fiz no primeiro trimestre.

Mas, já que os episódios do Dá Pra Piorar!? levaram mais tempo, eu não sei se farei mais deles... A não ser, é claro, que eu tenha um motivo, se é que você me entende *piscadela.

Então, comentem quais animes vocês estão mais ansiosos para ver, e eu farei questão de priorizá-los. Também, se vocês acharem que poder votar em quais animes eu deveria ver para o Dá pra Piorar!? é interessante, eu talvez torne isso uma recompensa no Patreon e Apoia.se. É só falar ^_^

E também, eu não estou prometendo ver os animes melhores mais, mas eu poderia ser convencido a fazer uma série semelhante para eles, se vocês preferirem. Mais uma vez, é só dizer. Obrigado!

On April 1st, we start getting a new batch of anime. I intend to watch'ewm all and do quick reviews with my first concerns and such, as I did in the first trimester.

But, since the Could it Get Worse!? episodes were more time consuming, I'm not sure I'll do any more of those... Unless, of course, I get some incentive, if you know what I mean *wink wink, nudge nudge.

So, let me know which anime you're looking foward to, and I'll make sure to prioritize them. Also, if you feel you'd like to be able to vote for which I should do a Could It Get Worse!? episode, I might make it a reward. Lemme know ^_^

Aggretsuko: a mascote mal tratada

Eu estava quase ignorando esta série, como tantas outras que ganham hype demais. Felizmente, a acessível duração de 10 min por episódio me convenceu a ver a raposa de fogo em toda sua metalicidade.

O anime se baseia na personagem mascote da Sanrio -a empresa que nos trás a gata que confusamente não seria gata, Hello Kitty -Retsuko anteriormente tendo estado em 100 curtas, mas eu nunca tinha ouvido falar sobre. Isto, porém, serve de mostra da qualidade do anime: me deu vontade de ir ver os curtas.

E, enquanto eu não diria ser revolucionário, o anime é muito bem executado. A personagem principal não é apresentada como glamorosa demais -parte da premissa, eu sei, mas este teria sido um erro comum demais para não mencionar;

O estilo minimalista funciona bem, sem nunca me parecer ter sido sem graça por falta de tempo, de interesse ou de orçamento -há um personagem propositalmente sem graça, mas, de novo, é apenas para seguir sua premissa;

O círculo de personagens ao redor dela é interessante na medida, e, enquanto suas situações de trabalho possam parecer um tanto irreais -tanto pelo exagero, quanto pela maior ênfase da sociedade japonesa quanto ao trabalho -eu achei o desenbolvimento bastante emocional e circunstancialmente esclarecedoras, demonstrando bem tanto os negativos quanto os positivos da vida de carreira no Japão.

Claro, sabemos que não é tão simples assim. Karoushi existem e são vários os relatos de pessoas que não vêem suas famílias ou lares por dias ou semanas para fazer suas funções. Ainda assim, realmente me passou a ideia de que aquela empresa, senão a empresa ideal no Japão, seria uma unidade familiar, ainda que seja consideravelmente disfuncional mesmo em seus melhores momentos.

O show mostra pessoas de status social maior e menor como iguais, empregados como capazes de mudar o ambiente em que trabalham, e que aprender com seus momentos difíceis é mais que possível, é exatamente o que deve ser feito, não importa de quem venha o conselho bom.

Isso tudo sem considerar as implicações do design. Estes personagens que poderiam ser adesivos para cadernos- e eu sei que a Sanrio está pensando nisso -mostram grande profundidade emocional ao longo da estória. Nossa visão deles são como máscaras de papel bidimensional por trás das quais personagens bem definidos se escondem. Várias vezes, um personagem parece que será mais simples e menos desenvolvido, para se mostrar tão bem pensado quanto todos os outros. É eu estou falando de uma gorila fêmea com rosto de Ilha de Páscoa e é um canguru que só repete uma palavra como se fosse Pokémon.

Fim das contas, eu diria ser uma série interessante, capaz de me fazer gargalhar em um momento, e rápida o bastante para aqueles intervalos no dia.

I was almost ignoring this series, as many others that get overhyped. Fortunately, the accessible 10 minute per episode duration convinced me to watch the firefox in all her metalness.

The anime is based in the mascot character for Sanrio -the company that bring a us the confusingly-not-a-kitten kitten, Hello Kitty -Retsuko having been in 100 shirts before, though I'd never heard of her. That, however, goes to show the quality of the anime: it made me want to see the shorts.

And, while I wouldn't say it's revolutionary, the anime is very well executed. The main character is not shown as too glamorous- part of the premise, I know, but this would've been too common a mistake not to mention;

The minimalist style works well, without ever seeming to me that it is bland due to lack of time, of interest or budget -there is a purposefully bland character, but, again, it's just part of the premise;

The circle of characters around her is interesting in just the right amount, And, while her work situations might seem somewhat unreal -both for exaggeration and the bigger emphasis the Japanese put into work -I found the development quite emotional and circunstancially clarifying, demonstrating both the negatives and the positives of a carrier life in Japan

Of course, we know it ian' t that simple. Karoushi exist and there are numerous reports of people who don't see their families or homes for days or weeks to fulfill their functions. Still, it really have me a sense of that company, if not Japan's ideal company, would be a family unit, even if a considerably dysfunctional one in its best moments.

It showed people of higher and lower social status as equals, employees as capable of changing the environment they work at, and learning from your tough moments is not only possible, but exactly what you should do, no matter who the good advice is coming from.

All of that not considering the implications of the designs. These characters that could be stickers for notebooks -And I know Sanrio is thinking of that -show great emotional depth along the story. Our image of them is like a paper mask behind which well-defined characters hide. Many a time a character seems to be simpler and less worked on, to show itself as well-considered as all the others. And I'm talking about a female gorilla with an Easter Island face and a kangaroo that just repeats one word like he's a Pokemon.

End of the day, I'd say it's an interesting series, which could make me laugh out loud at one point, and quick enough for those breaks along the day.

Stretch Armstrong

Esta resenha tem spoilers leves.

O mundo dos desenhos está repleto de séries feitas para vender brinquedos, e Stretch Armstrong se inclui nesse grupo. E, francamente, não é uma estratégia ruim desde que a estória seja bem executada.

Quando eu comecei a série, eu pensei que seria mais um desenho mal-feito para fazer pessoas comprarem brinquedos, mas devo dizer que as primeiras estórias me surpreenderam. Há um sempre infeliz aspecto de "eu quero um personagem assim, logo ele é assim." Personagens tem poderes porque tem os poderes e pronto. Pense Dr. Suzuki de Batman do Futuro. Então existe um elemento mágico que cria poderes.

Isso, entretanto, não é exatamente novidade. Mesmo uma série boa tem seus Willy Watts ganhando telecinese -Cá entre nós, se ele tivesse virado um tecnomante, faria muito mais sentido. -E se for bem executado, qualquer origem ruim pode gerar uma boa estória.

Eu devo dizer, embora não seja estelar, enquanto ainda está na fase de introdução de inimigos, funciona bem. Consegue-se apreciar o design, com linhas simples, mas bom efeito. Poderia ser melhor, claro, mas eu não diria ser de baixa qualidade.

A série realmente para de funcionar nos últimos episódios da temporada, quando as prioridades infelizmente mudam. A qualidade visual cai um pouco, sendo particularmente notável em momentos, mas é a estória em si que sofre mais, uma vez que os personagens que tinham algum desenvolvimento até o momento são forçados em situações para criar drama que não funciona por serem tropos básicos.

De fato, não há momento em que o grande vilão realmente funcione. Ele é apresentado sem histórico, com poderes e conhecimento inexplicado, para sua identidade ser revelada de forma pouco eficiente no fim da temporada depois de alguns episódios tentando mostrá-lo como grande ameaça, quase sempre sem grande efeito.

Enquanto ele aparece como a pessoa capaz de dar poderes, é criada uma atmosfera de influência, e ele é um vilão capaz de planejar e criar a situação que quiser. Quando ele abertamente manipula os heróis é previsível e pouco eficaz, e quando ele abertamente executa seus planos, eles são o mais básico e padrão possível. "Oh, o vilão quer um exército", esto tão surpreso! E não importa que eles virem monstros, quando não passa meio episódio antes de se achar uma solução.

Da mesma forma que um sacrifício heroico não vale de nada se você não acredita que o herói vai realmente perder; Referências a séries melhores não fazem diferença na qualidade do seu produto, especialmentese as séries não tem o mesmo público-alvo. E é particularmente notável quando se faz uma referência a Rick e Morty, uma serie que se destaca pela inteligência de seus roteiros, e você resolve o conflito com um deus ex machina.

Como disse antes, é um problema de prioridades. Fica claro vendo o fim da temporada que as decisões ruins se devem a querer criar uma situação específica para a segunda temporada. O mais engraçado é que não tem porque. A situação não era ruim, era razoavelmente estabelecida, e ia bem com o simplismo das estórias e quão coloridos os personagens eram. Tudo funcionava bem, até se tentar forçar uma mudança drástica para "algo interessante", criando algo padrão e abandonando o que funcionava... Infelizmente, é comum...

This review has light spoilers.

The world of cartoons is full of series made to sell toys, and Stretch Armstrong is in this group. Quite frankly, it's not a bad approach, as long as the story is well done.

When I started watching the series, I thought it would be another poorly made cartoon to make people buy toys, but I must say the first stories surprised me. There's always an unfortunate 'I want the character like this, so this is him" aspect. Characters have powers because they do and that's it. Think Dr. Suzuki in Batman Beyond. So there is a magical element that creates powers.

That, however, isn't exactly new. Even a good series has its Willy Watts getting telekinesis -Between us, if he had become a technomancer, it would make a lot more sense. -And if it's well executed, any bad origin can generate a good story.

I must say, though it's not stelar, while in the enemy introduction phase, it works well. You can appreciate the design, wih simple lines, but good effect. It could be better, of course, but I would say it's low quality.

The series really stops working in the last episodes of the season, when the priorities unfortunately change. The visual quality drops a bit, which is particularly noticeable at points, but the story itself suffers the most, since the characters that had some development so far are forced into situations to create drama that doesn't work for being basic tropes.

In fact, there is no point in which the big baddy really works. He is introduced without history, with powers and unexplained knowledge, for his identity to be revealed in a inefficient end of the season after a few episodes trying to show him as a big threat, almost always to no effect.

While he shows up as a person capable of granting powers, an atmosphere of influence is created, and he is a villain who can plan any situation and make it happen. When he openly manipulates the heroes it'd predictable and inefficient, and when he openly executes his plans, they are as basic and standard as possible. "oh, the villain wants and army", I'm so surprised! And it doesn't matter if they are monsters, if not half an episode later a solution is found.

The same way a heroic sacrifice isn't worth a damn if yo don't believe the hero is really going to loose; Rferences to better series don't make any difference towards your product's quality, specially if the series don't have the same target audience. And it's particularly noticeable when you make a reference to Rick and Morty, a series that stands out for how smarts its scripts are, and you solve the conflict with a deus ex machina.

As I said before, it's a problem with the priorities. It's clear watching the end of the season that the bad decisions are due to wanting to force a specific situation for the second season. The funniest thing is that there is no reason for this. The situation isn't bad, was reasonably established, and it was going fine until trying to force a drastic change towards "something interesting", making something standard and abandoning what was working... Unfortunately, this is common...

Como sempre, mudança de planos. Nada gigantesco. Eu só estou passando o fim de semana em outro lugar e esqueci um arquivo que precisava para poder continuar editando a próxima resenha, então, para não ficar parado, gravei alguns Episódios 1.

O grande problema de Episódios 1 é que, no começo de temporada, é praticamente impossível ver tudo e falar sobre tudo e editar as gravações sem atraso. Mas, 3 gravados, 1 editado, e usar as outras gravações depende apenas de quanto tempo eu descansarei ou não este fim de semana. É bastante provável que eu faça ao menos estes 3, mas sem pressa...

As usual, change of plans. Nothing huge. I 'm just spending the weekend somewhere else and forgot a file I needed to be able to continue editting the next review, so, in order to keep busy, I recorded a few Episode 1s.

The big issue with Episode 1s is that, at the start of the season, it's practically impossible to see it all and talk about it all and edit the recording without delay. But, 3 recorded, 1 editted, and using the other recordings depends only on how much time I'll rest or not this weekend. It's very likely I'll do at least these three, but not in a hurry...

Arlequina #1 e #2

Quanto ao Contexto

Primeiramente, eu admito: a opinião que eu tenho destas duas revistas pode ser simplesmente pelo contexto em que eu as li.

Eu não sou um fã da personagem desde o fim de BTAS ou acompanhava estórias com ela antes do renascimento; Eu não sou fã da versão dela recriada para o filme do Esquadrão Suicida (que parece ter influenciado esta versão imesamente);

E eu também não sou fã da grande maioria das estórias de zumbis. Para mim, a maior atração e possível motivo para ver The Walking Dead (não, eu nunca vi) é terem me dito que zumbis são só o contexto e o drama vem dos sobreviventes.

A Excessivamente Estúpida Estória

1 revista e meia destas é uma estória (originalmente publicada em Harley Quinn 1, 2 3 e 4) sem a menor ideia do que "engraçado" quer dizer, confundindo "impacto" com "ser interessante." O shock value destrói qualquer chance dos personagens serem interessantes ou as piadas feitas ganharem o leitor.

Basicamente? Arlequina nestas estórias é o personagem chato que acham que será adorável por a) se vestir pouco e b) "fazer coisas que outros não fariam." Bota mais aspas nisso. Bastante aspas mesmo. Umas dessas coisas é flertar pesado com Hera Venenosa, algo que ela trata como só mais uma de suas excentricidades -Pq lesbianismo é insano, como o fato delas terem sido mostradas na série que criou a personagem como amigas que já moraram juntas seria, a não ser que elas trepem! -Ah, e porque as pessoas ainda gostam de fingir que sexualidade é sensualidade. Ela também usa expressões a la Robin de Burt Ward... Várias vezes... Sem nenhum impacto em nenhuma delas. É só uma piada solta repetida inúmeras vezes.

Isso está na estória pelo mesmo motivo que as caras de Batman e o Coringa estão na capa da primeira revista: não é relevante (eles não fazem parte da estória), mas jogam o que puderem desesperadamente para que você goste desta revista. Não funcionou comigo...

A estória começa com Hera Venenosa indo embora depois de passar um tempo com Arlequina e uma recontagem da estória dela nesta versão -que já me foi tediosa -Contada por ela como se fosse um show em Coney Island, com parceiros-mirins demais (essa foi a tradução  que achei para sidekick... É estúpido demais para não mencionar, mas ainda mais engraçado que a maioria das piadas da estória estúpida).

O único que vai ser ligeiramente divertido é Red Tool, paródia de Deadpool -Que já era uma paródia do Exterminador (Slade Wilson, para vocês que o viram em Teen Titans e sabem quão genérico o nome dele é, também em Inglês -em que ele é Deathstroke, ou golpe mortal -mas, especialmente em Português). Ele é relativamente ativo na estória e não é um pé no saco pra se ler, então ele me parece bom.

...E é curioso ver a DC criando uma extensão dos balões de fala amarelos como piada de forma boa (eles são em forma de ferramentas, algo que certamente não foi desenvolvido nestas revistas, por isso tem chance de ser bem feito), ao mesmo tempo que tem que dizer que o mundo não sabe quem ele é para tentar cutucar a Marvel... Enquanto fazendo uma piada a la Deadpool que realmente funciona no hospital -A única que eu diria boa sem ter de qualificar.

Fora ele -interessante de uma forma, a seu jeito, meta -Infelizmente, estas revistas são só um acúmulo de "isso vai ser foda" gritado de novo e de novo enquanto jogam todo clichê que conseguiram, o que me indica que, mais uma vez, o problema aqui é a cópia. Exatamente como Superman V Batman e Esquadrão Suicida: fizerem o que acharam que era "automaticamente bom", em vez de desenvolver algo que poderia ser por si só.

A estória se resume a um alien chegando na terra e achando que vacas são a espécie dominante -Porque se South Park fez, é automaticamente bom -E se disfarçando de vaca em uma imagem realmente engraçada que me deixou esperançoso... E AÍ, ELE VIRA SALSICHA -E não, você não pode fingir que isso não é sanguinolento. "Alien" não exclui "personagem." E eles ainda vão tentar fazer isso de novo mais tarde.

Comer as salsichas zombifica a população e... -BLEEeeeeeeer... POR QUE DIABOS COMER SERES PENSANTES PASSA PELA CABEÇA DE AUTORES E ELES NÃO SENTEM NOJO!?!?!?! -e leva o grupo a buscar abrigo, Red Tool, entretanto, é mordido, e tem seU BRAÇO CORTADO FORA PELA PERSONAGEM PRINCIPAL...? - 0_0 Como diabos vocês querem que eu goste dessa personagem? 0_0 -E não, não é para salvá-lo. E então ela o lança com uma catapulta no telhado para um hospital -Algo que poderia ser uma piada samurai-pizza-caticamente interessante... Algo insano para a maioria, mas que personagens provavelmente poderiam usar em sua normalidade RUBY, mas que tem que vir logo depois o braço cortado, e ainda é seguido com comentários sobre a vítima perder a consciência, um hospital sendo metralhado para que ele passe pela janela -O que poderia também ser engraçado, se o susto e o corpo caindo fossem a piada, mas antes a palhaça tem que metralhar três andares do prédio -E, claro, todos aceitando que isso é só "mais uma excentricidade" do horrível inseto que entrou na pele de Harley Quinn e finge ser ela há tanto tempo.

Sim, eu sei. Ela é Lollypop Chainsaw metade das vezes... -E daí? Eu não estou jogando. Pássaros atacam a la Birdemic... -É só uma referência, que é tão ambígua que talvez tenham pensado em Hitchcock mais que Nguyen. E algumas imagens realmente poderiam ser usada com bom resultado, como Red Tool voando pelo ar ou Harley Queen sobre um cavalo morto-vivo, praticamente dizendo que ela é um dos quatro cavaleiros do apocalipse -Mas, sem asas de metal ou qualquer importância para o resto da estória.

A única outra coisa realmente interessante na primeira revista foi a chegada de Hera Venenosa, e mesmo assim me parece que poderia ser muito melhor se não fosse um deus ex machina para salvar Arlequina e tentar criar expectativas para a próxima parte na segunda revista. Ah, e ela usa um cortador de grama como arma, então... Peter Jackson, talvez?

A última parte é mais do mesmo, a única parte boa sendo a piada anteriormente mencionada, mas também inclui uma sala de portas para estórias futuras e mais um deus ex machina na forma dos pais do alienígena dizendo que podem curá-lo retirando seus pedaços dos zumbis, o que tambem acaba com a crise.

0_0 Suspiro... Por que ele estar vivo seria melhor, autores? Você literalmente diz que este ser foi mutilado, passou por centenas de sistemas digestivos, E ESTAVA CONSCIENTE ESSE TEMPO TODO!? Mesmo se seu leitor pensa que a morte poderia ser algo menor para esta espécie, você aponta para ele poder compreender enquanto está em pedaços!? Eu tenho medo de um dia estar na mesma sala que Amanda Conner e Jimmy Palmiotti. Eles devem achar que Jogos Mortais é uma comédia.

O Filler Ferrado e a Catastrófica Conclusão sobre a dC

Finalmente, a última metade de revista, os dois a mostram mais boba, trazendo piadas de pessoas morrendo -Ou talvez operadores de telemarketing não sejam pessoas... Ao menos, quando estão dando um golpe em velhinhos... Pelo menos, são vilões... Tá, essa parte não é tão ruim. Eu até gosto da piada de diálogo repetido exatamente igual por todos eles.

...Arlequina fazendo crianças vomitar em Coney Island -Não querendo dar desculpas, mas não quero que achem que a segunda estória é tão ruim quanto a primeira, além de vômito em parques de diversão existir. No mínimo, é mais acreditável como excentricidade que decepar um braço de um amigo. -E uma luta contra um robô gigante pilotado por um bebê -Vamos todos dar um momento de silêncio para o bebê de Captain Commando, que conseguira ser um conceito criativo e instigante que interessaria qualquer um assim que é visto... Até agora. Agora, infelizmente, podem haver os que deixam de lado e dizem "ah, é aquela piada da revista da Arlequina..."

E -Eu eu sei que estou negando as escolhas de autores que não me leem para uma estória antiga traduzida, mas ainda vale notar -NÃO, VOCÊS NÃO PODEM DIZER QUE É PARA SALVAR VELHINHOS E ESPERAR QUE TUDO SEJA AUTOMATICAMENTE POSITIVO. É LITERALMENTE UMA CRÍTICA FEITA CONTRA ATITUDES DE POLÍTICOS HÁ ANOS!!!

Por fim, algo me ocorre, agora que estou terminando este longo texto... É o pessoal que ainda shipa Arlequina com Coringa, né? Vocês ouviram o bando de imbecis que não entenderam "Mad love" e ainda dizem que o Coringa ama a Arlequina e é só, mais uma vez, excêntrico... POR QUE DIABOS A DC OUVE MAIS GENTE QUE NÃO SABE O QUE É SADIO DO QUE OS CRIADORES??

About the Context

Firstly, I admit it: the opinion I have of these comics could simply be due to the context in which I read them.

I haven't been a fan of the character since the end of BTAS or followed stories with her before Rebirth: I'm not a fan of her version recreated for the Suicide Squad movie (which seems to have influenced this version immensely);

And I'm also not a fan of the majority of zombie stories. To me, the biggest attraction and possible reason to see The Walking Dead (No, I haven't seen it) is being told the zombies are just the context and the drama comes from the survivors.

The Excessively Stupid Story

A comic and a half of these are a story (originally published in Harley Quinn 1, 2 3 e 4) without any idea of what "funny" means, confusing "impactful" with "being interesting." The shock value destroys any chance of the characters being interesting or the jokes made winning the reader over.

Basically? Harley Quinn in these stories is an annoying character they think will be adorable for a) barely dressing and b) "doing things others wouldn't." Add some quotes to that. A really big bunch of quotes. One of those is heavily flirting with Poison Ivy, something she considers to be just another of her eccentricities -Because lesbianism is insane, just like the fact they have been shown in the series that created the character as friends who've lived together would be, unless they screw! -Oh, and because people still like pretending sexuality is sensuality. she also uses expressions a la Burt Ward's Robin... Repeatedly... Without any impact in any of them. It's just a loose joke repeated countless times.

It's in the story for the same reason Batman and the Joker's faces are on the cover of the first book: it's not relevant (they're not part of the story), but they throw whatever they can desperately trying to get you to like the book. It didn't work with me...

The story starts with Poison Ivy going away after spending time with Harley Quinn and a retelling of her story in this version -which I found tedious already -Told by her as a show in Coney Island, with way too many minor-partners (that's the translation I found for sidekick... It's too stupid not to mention, but still funnier than most of the jokes in the stupid story).

The only one that's going to be mildly amusing is Red Tool, parody of Deadpool -Which was a parody of Deathstroke (Slade Wilson, to those who've seen him in Teen Titans and know how generic his name is, in English too, but specially in Portuguese, in which he is the exterminator -Yes, it's the very same word for a bug killer). He is relatively active in the story and not a pain to read, so he seems good.

AND THEN, HE'S SAUSAGE -And no, you can't pretend that isn't bloody. "Alien" doesn't exclude "character." And they'll try to do that again later.

Eating the hot dogs zombifies the population and... - HUUUURrrrrlll... WHY IN THE HELL DOES EATING THINKING BEINGS
 GOES THROUGH AUTHORS MINDS AND THEY DON'T FEEL NAUSEAOUS!?!?!?! -and leads the group to seek shelter. Red Tool, however, is bitten and haS HIS ARM CHOP OFF BY THE MAIN CHARACTER...? - 0_0 How the hell do you wan tme to like this character? 0_0 -And no, it's not to save him. She then launches him with a catapult from the roof into a hospital -Something that could've been samurai-pizza-cattly interesting... Something insane for most, but that the characters could probably use in their RUBY normalcy, but that has to come right after the arm being chopped-off, and is still followed by comments about the victim loosing conciousness, a hospital being gunned down so he can go through the window -Which could also be funny, if the scare and the body fallng were the joke, but the clown has to shoot three of the building's floors -And, of course, everyone taking this as just "another eccentricity" from the horrible bug that's got into Harley Quinn's skin and has pretended to be her for so long.

Yes, I know. She's Lollypop Chainsaw half the times... -So what? I'm not playing it. Birds attack a la Birdemic... -It's just a reference, which is so ambiguous that they might've thought of Hitchcock more than Nguyen. And some images really could've been used well, like Red tool flying through the air or Haley Quiin on an undead horse, practically saying she's one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse -But, with no metal wings or any importance to the rest of the story.

The only other really interesting thing in the first book is Poison Ivy's arrival, and even that, seems to me, could be better if it wasn't a deus ex machina to save Harly Quinn and try to raise expectations for the next part in the second book. Oh, and she uses a weed whacker as her weapon, so... Peter Jackson, maybe?

The last part is more of the same, the only good thing being the previously mentioned joke, but it also includes a room of doors for future stories and another deus ex machina in the alien's parents saying they can cure him removing all his pieces from the zombies, which also ends the crisis.

0_0 sigh... Why would him being alive be better, authors? You literally say this being was mutilated, went through hundreds of digestive systems, AND WAS CONCIOUS FOR ALL OF IT!? even if your reader thinks that death could be something minor to this species, you point out they can understand while in pieces!? I'm afraid of on day being in the same room as Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti. They must think Saw is a comedy.

The Freaking Filler and the Catastrofic Conclusion about dC

Finally, in the last half a book, the two show her sillier, bringing jokes about people being killed -Or maybe telemartketing operators aren't people... At least, when they are conning old people... At least, they're villains... Ok, this part isn't that bad. I even like the joke of them repeating dialogue exactly the same way.

...Harley Quinn making kids vomit in Coney Island -I don't want to make excuses, but I don't want people to think the second story is as bad as the first, besides throwing up in amusement parks beign a thing. at least, is more believable as an eccentricity than chopping off a friend's arm. -and a fight against a giant robot piloted by a baby -Let's all take a moment of silence for the baby in Captain Commando, who's been able to  be a creative and riveting concept that would interest anyone as soon as it's seen... Until now. Now, unfortunately, there might be those who leave it aside saying "oh, it's that joke from the Harley Quinn comic..."

And -And I know I'm saying not to the choices of authors that don't read me for an old story translated, but it's still worth mentioning -NO, YOU CANNOT SAY THAT IT FOR OLD PEOPLE AND EXPECT EVERYTHING TO AUTOMATICALLY BE POSITIVE. IT'S LITERALLY A CRITICISM USED AGAINST POLITICIANS FOR YEARS!!!

To finish, it occurs to me, now that I'm finalizing this long text... It's the people who still ship harley Quinn and the Joker, isn't it? You hear the bunch of morons that didn't understand "Mad Love! and still say the Joker loves Harley Quinn and is just, once again, eccentric... WHY THE HELL DOES DC PAY ATTENTION MORE TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT'S HEALTHY THAN THE CREATORS??

Guardiões da Galáxia 2/ Guardians of the Galaxy 2

Sim, eu sei... Todo mundo já viu... Só que eu sou professor, trabalhador e sem tempo... Or.
Eu nem sei quanto tempo mais teria. Mas, querendo ver Power Rangers, descobri q teria q ir pra Paracambi para tanto, então, GG2 antes que perdesse mais um ingresso.
No geral, provavelmente é um filme ligeiramente inferior ao anterior. Muita coisa ocorrendo pra ter uma estrutura simples, eu diria. Isso, porém, não quer dizer que é ruim. Pelo contrário. Se vc achou o primeiro filme um 9, este é um 8.75, com momentos talvez melhores que os do primeiro.
Um destes momentos é o final, que eu não vou descrever, mas chega a ser duas cenas seguidas, e mesmo assim carrega um momento sóbrio muito bem por todo este tempo. EU CHOREI! Eu chorei, e por... Yeap.
Claro, ele não seria inferior ao outro se não houvessem falhas. Em geral, são momentos em que o... "momento" parece um pouco forçado. Não ocorre demais, mas algumas 3 vezes ao menos.
Outra questão particularmente problemática é a caracterização de dois personagens: Drax e Rocket Racoon. Sem estragar nada, pelos personagens terem mais tempo, é esperado que a caracterização seria mais importante, mas ela ocorre de forma mais forçada até a conclusão de tais arcos. No caso de Rocket é particularmente ruim.
Quando se falando de Nebulosa, eu não sei se é má caracterização em si. Existem partes que parecem forçadas para um ser humano normal naquela situação, mas não exatamente para Nebulosa. Entretanto, não é exatamente algo dizendo "ela é uma guerreira", mas "ela é insana." De novo, eu assumo, os dois aspectos já estavam lá no outro filme pelo que me lembro, mas o equilíbrio entre eles parece um pouco quebrado.
A questão maior pra mim, neste caso assim como o do vilão não é se combina com o quadrinho, pq acho q não, mas se combina com o universo em si. No caso do vilão, sim, ainda que o fim me parecesse precisar de mais atenção para ele em seu ápice.
Então, músicas ótimas, apenas uma não me parecendo ótima e apenas boa, interações maravilhosas, humor bom pra muito bom, algumas piadas tomando parte da forcação, enredo muito bom, cenas de luta ótima, apesar de alguns 3 tropeços, 5 se contar dois mínimos no fim. VEJA! Mesmo que já tenha visto, veja de novo!

Os filmes dos Guardiões da Galáxia são sobre um garoto ficando órfão. O primeiro começa com ele perdendo sua mãe e acaba com ele aceitando sua nova familia; e o segundo é sobre ele matando seu pai biológico e aceitando seu pai adotivo... Que também morre...
Cara, Peter Quill é tão bom em ser órfão que ele conseguiu perder 3 PAIS!

I don't even know how much more time I would have had. But, wnating to see Power Rangers, I found out I would have to go to Paracambi for that, so, GG2 before I loose out on another ticket.

Over all, it's probably a movie slightly inferior to the previous one. Too many things happening to have a simple structure, I'd say. That, however, does not mean it is bad. On the contrary. If you thought the first movie was a 9, this would be a 8.75, with moments perhaps even better than the ones in the first. One such moments is the ending, which I won't describe, but it goes as long as to be two scenes back to back, and still carries a somber moment well throughout this time. I CRIED! I cried, and for... Yeap.

Of course, it wouldn't be inferior to the other if there were no flaws. In general, those are mmoments in which the... "moment" seems a bit forced. It doesn't happen too much, but some 3 times at least. Another issue that's particularly problematic is the characterization of two characters: Drax and Rocket Racoon. Without spoiling anything, because the characters have more time, it's expected their characterization would be more important, but it happens in a more forced manner up to the conclusion of such arcs. In the case of Rocket it is particularly bad.

When talking about Nebula, I don't know if it's bad characterization itself. There are parts that seem forced for a human being in that situation, but not exactly for Nebula.

However, it's not exactly something saying "she's a warrior", but "she's insane." Again, I admit, the two aspects were already there in the other movie as far as I remember, but the balance between them seems a bit off.
the biggest issue to me, in this case as well as with the villain is not if it mtches the comic, which I don't think it does, but if it matches the universe itself. In the villain's case, yes, even if the ending seemed to need more attention towards him in the climax.
So, great songs, only one not feeling great and just good, wonderful interaction, humor that's good to very good, some jokes being a part of the forced storytelling, a very good plot, great fight scenes, despite some three slips, 5 if you count the 2 minor ons in the end. WATCH IT! Even if you've seen it already, watch it again!
